The extra virgin olive oil produced, bottled, traded and exported by ILOVEACEITEĀ® comes exclusively from the farming production  in Peal de Becerro (Jaén).

The production area is located in the southeast province of Jaen in a singular and special place with extraordinary value, next to the “Natural Park of Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, the largest in Spain, with environmental unique characteristics.

The surface of the region of Peal de Becerro is of 1,337 km2. The area devoted to olive groves rounds the 37,500 hectares, accounting for 5.89% of all the olive groves of Jaen province and 52% of the cultivated area of the county.

The extra virgin olive oil produced, bottled and traded by ILOVEACEITEĀ® is also protected under the Designation of Origin 'Sierra de Cazorla'. It´s guarantee origin and quality all of our products.

Peal de Becerro has a population of about 6,000 inhabitants, of which most are based in the core of the term. Its area is 147 m² and is part of the basin of the Guadalquivir river which crosses the municipality and its tributary, the Guadiana Menor, the Guadalentín and other smaller streams.

Paleolithic remains have been found near the village of Toya and the confluence of the Guadiana and Guadalquivir Minor and numerous traces of Iberian period, also in Toya, among which a burial chamber Iberian National Historical Monument in 1918 . Inside he found the "Bicha Toya," which is an Iberian sculpture that is now in the Archaeological Museum in Madrid.

Historically, there are reports of its existence since the thirteenth century, although the term did not become independent of de Cazorla until 1857.

On the other hand, the town also has two towers (the Mocha and Clock), remnants of a medieval castle and the main monument, and located beside the village church.
